If you’re on the lookout for the best social media management tool for your business, you’ll surely come across Sendible at least a few times. This tool describes itself as the best social media management software for agencies, and in this Sendible review, we’ll see if that’s true.

I’ve used Sendible to manage social media before, and I can say right off the bat that I was quite satisfied with the services it gave me, but that doesn’t mean you will be, too. And the best way to figure out if something suits your needs is to learn about it from someone who has used it before or is using it now. Someone like me!

So, let’s explore all of Sendible’s core features, prices, integrations, ease of use, and more so that you can determine whether this tool is the right solution for you!

Sendible is a social media management platform that caters specifically to agencies and brands who want to manage social media at scale. It was established back in 2009 and has its headquarters in London, United Kingdom.

With this platform, you’ll get features like publishing & scheduling, engagement, tailored features for agencies, white label, collaboration, analytics, integrations, monitoring, and suggested content.

Now, let’s explore Sendible’s features, prices, ease of use, reputation, customer support, and more one by one in the following section.

Features

Before we begin, I must mention that I won’t cover every last feature and service that Sendible offers, but I’ll make sure to include all the core functionalities that every business needs for effective social media management.

Publishing & Scheduling: Sendible’s publishing and scheduling allows you to schedule social media posts, photos, and videos separately or in bulk. What’s best about it is that it enables you to schedule posts as far in the future as you want. You can also add emojis, mentions, hashtags, and visuals to all your posts. Also, there’s a queue functionality that allows you to group posts into campaigns and post them on specific days at optimal times. The publishing and scheduling feature comes with a calendar, which gives you a visual overview of all your posts from the past and present. Another functionality that I like is Sendible’s Image Editor, which you can use to optimize your photos for every platform. To create content with Sendible, you need to click on the Compose button, which will lead you to a popup window. Here, you can create a message or paste a link, add attachments, shorten your link, add emojis, and more. If you want to schedule an update, all you need to do is click on Calendar and choose a date. You can also save your content as a draft or make a copy of it so that you can use it on your social media accounts. When you’re done creating your content, you need to choose which platform/s you’ll post it on, and Sendible will automatically format your post accordingly. This is a feature I really like because it saves me the trouble of adjusting every post for the specific platform.

Note

Sendible also enables you to add your RSS feeds and set up Google Alerts to post updates to your accounts automatically.

Engagement: In your Sendible dashboard, you can find an Engagement tab where you can track your social media and monitor your activity across all the accounts you’ve added. Also, here, you can find recommendations from Sendible on what you should pay more attention to. To do that, go to the Priority Inbox and click on individual streams. The Engagement tab sorts your messages by date and allows you to respond directly to them, no matter which platform they’re from, from one dashboard. From this dashboard, you can also like, share, retweet, comment, and do all the other things that you would do if you were on the social media app itself. Another great functionality that you’ll find in the Engagement tab is the ability to see profile information on X users, and you can do that by clicking on their usernames.

The Priority Inbox is located on the right side of your Sendible dashboard, right under the Compose button.

Agencies: As mentioned, Sendible offers features and tools tailor-made for agencies that provide social media management as a service. With Sendible, agencies can organize their clients in individual dashboards, keep track of the content scheduled for every client with an interactive calendar, and reorganize scheduled posts by simply dragging and dropping them. However, a feature that I really like and that I think is very useful to agencies is Sendible’s onboarding functionality. Namely, this allows you to onboard new clients by enabling them to connect their social media accounts to your website without sharing their passwords. You can use Sendible to engage with your clients through one dashboard, as the tool allows you to receive all messages, comments, and mentions in one view. Once you receive everything, you can assign each message, comment, and mention to team members and serve your clients with care. One thing that agencies must do for their clients is provide reports. You can configure Sendible to deliver branded reports to your clients at a frequency you like, and it’ll do so automatically without your intervention. Also, you can create reports directly through your Sendible dashboard. Other features that agencies get with Sendible include integration with Canva, an Image Editor, RSS feeds, bulk importing, content suggestions, and media integrations.
Collaboration: One of the functionalities that you do with Sendible’s collaboration tools is manage tasks and use shared content libraries to store your most-used hashtags, assets, and other reusable content. You can also delegate messages to the appropriate team members, like sales opportunities to salespeople and customer issues to customer support agents. Your team members can also seek approval from you or your client before they post, which is a super useful tool for newer employees. But the best collaboration tool that Sendible offers is the ability to set custom user permission groups, where you can set individual permission for every member of the group.

Analytics & Reporting: Sendible’s analytics dashboard has a clean and easy-to-navigate interface. Via this dashboard, you can view detailed reports about your performance or your client’s performance on social media. You can get reports for every separate social media platform you use by simply clicking on the button related to it. Also, you can set up analytics for all your accounts. The reports that Sendible offers are automatically created, but you can also create custom ones via the tool’s Report builder. The Report builder allows you to choose from more than 250 drag-and-drop modules. However, no matter what kind of reports you use, you’ll get documents that show all the data in a clear and readable way.

Note

Sendible’s reports can track metrics like engagement rates, follower growth, impressions, reach, and more.

Monitoring: You can access Sendible’s monitoring or social listening functionality via the Monitor tab on your dashboard. Here, you can see what people say about your brand or, in the case of agencies, your clients’ brands. This feature begins working during setup, where you provide information about your website and interests, and then it automatically creates keyword monitors based on that information. When you’re ready, you can also add your own keywords and find out what people are saying about you. Another crafty functionality of Sendible’s monitoring feature is that it enables you to search for a brand or website you want to track. So, here, you can search for your own brand or your clients’ websites and brands. Sendible’s monitoring feature also comes with sentiment analysis, which shows you how most people feel about your business.

Suggested Content: The moment you log into your Sendible dashboard for the first time, the tool will automatically create a content library for you. However, you can also add your own. This is great for businesses that want to create evergreen content that they can post multiple times, as it allows them to do so without creating the same post from scratch. Sendible also provides you with content recommendations based on what you’ve posted on X. So, with Sendible, you’ll always have engaging content ideas on the back burner, which comes quite in handy when you don’t know what to post.
Integrations: Sendible’s integration library isn’t as wide as the ones its competitors have. However, you can still use it to integrate some popular apps into your dashboard, including apps like the Google Chrome extension, Client Connect widget, WordPress, WordPress.com, RSS Feed Importer, Canva, GIPHY, Pexels, Google Analytics, Dropbox, and Google Drive.

Sendible has live chat support that’s available 24/7 but does not respond immediately to messages. Aside from that, Its support teams are available from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. UTC. You can reach it via email and a ticketing system, as well as through phone if you’re from the UK, US, or Australia.

Also, Sendible’s response times aren’t great, regardless of whether you mark your ticket as “important.” But when the agents do get back to you, they usually provide detailed and super helpful responses, which can also contain video walkthroughs. Sendible also has a thorough Help Desk with many written guides and video tutorials.

Once you set up your Sendible account, you’ll get the option to add your accounts, and the whole process is super quick. So, all in all, Sendible has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, and you’ll have no problem finding the tools and features you need there.

Sendible has four pricing plans you can choose from. All of them come with 14-day free trials that don’t require a credit card and which you can cancel whenever you want.

The cheapest plan is called Creator, and it costs $25/month on a yearly billing period. Sendible recommends this plan for freelancers, and it includes unlimited scheduling, planning & content ideas, monitoring & replying, and reporting. It also comes with six social profiles and one user account.

In my opinion, the more expensive plans offer better value for money, because even though they’re pricier, they come with a wide range of features.

Agencies and social media management companies really do see Sendible as the best option for their businesses. They especially appreciate its collaboration tools, analytics, and its detailed reports. Also, many regard Sendible’s publishing & scheduling tools as the best on the market.

To be honest, I had a hard time choosing which features I wanted to mention in this section, as there were quite a few worthy contenders. In the end, I settled for the following:

Auto-Posting: This feature monitors RSS feeds and websites and automatically posts that content on your social media. You can customize the update frequency and number of entries and decide whether to add these posts to your drafts or schedule them for later.
White Label: The White Label feature allows you to provide your own social media management software under your brand. It’s a great way to make extra money, and you’ll get to add your colors and logo and use your own web domain.

After this review, I can confirm that Sendible is truly best for agencies that offer social media management services to clients. However, I would also recommend it to management teams that handle a few employees and frequently use social media in their strategies.
