Performance, Bandwidth, & Storage

Website builders are not known for having lightning-fast performance and loading speeds, as they’re more focused on giving you space to add as many features and content as possible to your website. And the more features and content you have, the bigger your website gets, which puts a strain on your performance.

With that said, I wasn’t surprised to see that Wix performed a bit slowly. However, it’s still not terrible and is more than fine for most websites. With Wix, you can get plans with 2GB to unlimited storage, with all of the plans (except for the cheapest one) supporting up to 50,000 products.

The builder also offers a 99.98% uptime guarantee, which is not bad at all for a website builder. Wix has servers in Europe and the US, but more specific locations are unknown. Also, all Wix users get unlimited bandwidth, which is great if you ask me.

I’ve chatted with Wix agents a few times, and I can say that they’ve always helped me solve my problems and answered my questions very fast. It’s great that Wix has 24/7 customer support, as people from all over the world, no matter the time zone, can contact it.

You can reach Wix customer support via live chat, a callback phone line, and a ticketing system. Also, Wix has a Help Center full of articles, guides, and tutorials, which can help you a lot.

Ease of Use

As I mentioned above, Wix has a drag-and-drop editor that’s very easy to use and allows you to customize every inch of your website by simply dragging and dropping elements. However, there’s an even easier option you can use – Wix ADI.

Wix ADI allows you to create a website without creating a website. In other words, it requires you only to answer a few questions related to your website, and then the AI builds the entire website based on your answers.

Pricing

Wix offers five pricing plans you can choose from. The entry-level plan costs $11.90/month and comes with two collaborators, 2GB of storage, unlimited bandwidth, a Light marketing suite, and a free domain for one year. This plan is great for small websites and blogs. What’s best is that all of the premium plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Also, Wix has a free plan that you can use indefinitely. The free plan includes Wix branding, a Wix subdomain, up to 500MB of storage, up to 500MB of bandwidth, and customer support. It doesn’t support eCommerce features, but it’s a great way to try out Wix for free.
